With 210,000 residents, Burgas is the second largest city on the Bulgarian coast of the Black Sea. From here, it's just 35 km to one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Black Sea, the seaside resort of Slantschev Brjag (Sonnenstrand or "Sunny Beach") with its 7 km of beach, where children are welcome. The "Sunny Beach" is an ideal holiday location for families with children. In addition to the fine sand beaches, the numerous nature preserves in the estuaries with their unique animals and plants are worth an excursion as well.
