My tip: Don’t miss a visit to the Elaphiti islands off the coast of Dubrovnik, where you can enjoy splendid natural scenery in the national parks. You can go by ferry, direct from Dubrovnik harbour. As soon as you leave the major roads, you will find numerous vineyards where you can taste the local wine. Croatia is a paradise for wine buffs.
