Nice has the Negresco, Venice has the Danieli – and Rimini has its Grand Hotel. But you don’t have to spend the night there to enjoy the elegant charm of the early 20th century. In my view, however, dinner on the terrace or a drink at the hotel bar are the key to the ultimate holiday feeling in Rimini. I love the unique atmosphere, the fantastic cocktails – and the films of Federico Fellini, who was not only Rimini’s most famous son, but also more or less called the Grand Hotel his home.
