Rzeszów is a city of 180,000 residents located in southeastern Poland in the Carpathian foothills.
The city, close to both the Ukraine and Slovakia, is an important transportation hub. In addition, this university city is a Roman Catholic Diocese. Among the most significant attractions are the Piarist monastery from the 18th century and the Bernardine monastery with its parish church and the two synagogues. In addition, a visit to the Lubormirski Castle and the old town with it beautiful marketplace and many cafés is worthwhile.
