From the start of the winter flight schedule on 25.10.2009 airberlin will take over all the German domestic flights as well as the flight network to and from Austria and Italy. As a result of this changeover TUIfly will cease to operate the established bluemiles programme as of 24 October 2009. However, this will not involve any disadvantages for you.

On the contrary, in connection with the closing down of the bluemiles programme TUIfly offers you the chance to change to airberlin’s topbonus and to benefit also from many other advantages. So that any bluemiles you have can be transferred by 25.10.2009, you need to register online. There you will find all the important information as well as an overview of the advantages of topbonus.

If you don’t want to convert your bluemiles into topbonus miles then your  bonus miles will be valid until midnight on 30.04.2010, provided they don't expire beforehand. You can redeem your bluemiles for a TUIfly award flight listed in the bonus table subject to the bluemiles conditions.

If you have agreed to have your bluemiles transferred to topbonus, then bookings made on or after 25.10.2009 for award flights with a departure date on or after 25.10.2009 are subject exclusively to the airberlin route network .You can book these award flights exclusively online on the website www.airberlin.com/topbonus.

Good to know:

• bluemiles free flights are one-way free flights and can be freely combined with other flight bookings.
• All flights operated by TUIfly can be booked as free flight bonuses provided there are sufficient bonus seats available on the desired flight at the time of booking.
• Individual destinations such as Tunisia or Egypt cannot be booked as one-way bonus flights.
• All you have to pay are of taxes, passenger charges and fuel surcharges.
• The General Conditions of Carriage of the airline performing the flight apply to bluemiles free flights.
