If your baggage has been damaged or is lost, it is important that you contact the Lost & Found office of the respective airline.
Immediate, written notification serves as proof that the damage occurred when the baggage was in the possession of the respective airline. Passengers are obliged by law to submit notification within 7 days in case of international flights and within 3 months in case of domestic German flights.
