Children
- Infants under 2 years of age: EUR 10 on international flights and EUR 11.90 on domestic (German) flights
- Children aged 2 – 6: 50 % reduction on net fare
- Children aged 7 – 11: normal fare
FLEX Rate
- Change or cancel your booking and reserve a seat up to 30 minutes prior to departure, 10 kilos extra free baggage, 1,000 bonus miles and a € 8 voucher for in-flight sales and shopping.
On-board service
- On almost all our longer flights, including those to the Canaries, the Cape Verde Islands, Egypt, Greece, Israel, southern Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Spain and Tunisia, we offer food and soft drinks free of charge. Depending on the length of your flight, the choice ranges from tasty, filling baguettes to hot main courses.
- On our shorter flights, drinks and snacks are available on sale. These flights include domestic German services and connections (German departures and arrivals) to and from Austria, Croatia, France, northern Italy, Sweden and the UK.
- Or choose your own personal menu, created specially for you, from our Smile Bistro
- Our in-flight shop can offer you a wide range of cosmetics, perfumes, confectionery and exclusive souvenirs for home: from model aeroplanes to children’s toys, from aftershave to sunscreen, from sunglasses to watches. All at affordable prices and brought directly to your seat. You can, on flights to destinations outside the EU and to the Canary Islands, also buy spirits and cigarettes at specially reduced prices.
Booking
- Internet-Fares begin at EUR 19.99 EUR per route and person incl. taxes and passenger-based charges and fuel surcharge. These minimum fares do not apply on public holidays, during school holidays or to flights to nd from North Africa, Madeira and the Canaries.
- If you book through our service centre or a travel agency, you will be charged a fee of € 7.50 per route and person on international flights and of € 8.70 per route and person on inner-German flights.
- Payment can be made by credit card (charge of € 6 per booking for international flights, € 7,14 for domestic flights) or by direct debit (without charge).
- Tickets can be exchanged for a fee of € 25 for international and € 29 for domestic flights. Passengers are obliged to pay the difference if the new ticket costs more than the originally booked flight.
Seat reservations
- Seats can be reserved on payment of a service charge, which amounts to € 9 per person and route.
- XL seats (96 cm space between seats) can be reserved for a charge of € 25 per person and route.
Check-in
- The check-in counters open 2 hours before departure.
- Online check-in is possible as from 30 hours before departure for all flights from Germany. You can check in your baggage on the day of departure at special drop-off points at the airport.

- TUIfly operates 48 modern Boeing 737 aircraft:
- Boeing 737-700 with 148 seats
- Boeing 737-800 with 189 seats
- There is an average of approx. 74 cm space between seats. All TUIfly flights are non-smoking.
